Ohio...

Soooo, I’m on “vacation”. Taking a much needed rest and relaxation break from NYC. Where did I choose to go? My hometown of Ontario, Ohio! Population; about 5,000. The next couple of weeks will be dedicated to sharing pictures of my home, outfits, and just the plain country life. :-)

Daniel Craig Watch by Omega to benefit Orbis International

Not only is he hot, but caring too! Daniel Craig, best known for the James Bond series of films, has collaborated with timepiece makers Omega and Orbis International on the Hour Vision Blue ($6,700) watch now in stores. The watch benefits a cause close to Daniel's heart, Orbis International. Orbis International fights against blindness by offering eye care to areas in need to over 85 countries. Through their partnership with Orbis, Omega has agreed to commit a minimum of $1 million from the sales of the watch to the non-profit organization.
Craig also plans on making a trip with Orbis' Flying Eye Hospital. The "flying" hospital performs surgeries and serves as a teaching facility to train other medical personnel in the regions they visit.

“I think that it’s important to do all that we can to draw attention to the invaluable work that Orbis is doing. By visiting them in the field and seeing their team at work, I hope we will be able to make more people aware of the issue of preventable blindness and to let them know how much of a difference they can make. I’m delighted that Omega feels as strongly about this initiative as I do,” says Craig.
